Our mission is to give each student an educational advantage by providing a variety of constructive and consistent learning experiences and opportunities that will build confidence and the ability to form part of a social group. We have undertaken the task of encouraging students to perceive learning as both enjoyable and useful, and of providing a strong foundation for their intellectual, physical and social-emotional development.

Because of the age group this division of the school attends, there is a wide range of activities that teachers follow on a daily and weekly basis. These activities include individual and group work, hands-on activities, handcrafts, and technological activities that involve the use of computers and projectors, and ongoing pre-reading, pre-spelling, and pre-writing activities. Furthermore, students are able to practice both fine and gross motor skills, as well as become engaged in critical thinking games and activities such as Bingo, memory games, dramatizations, crossword puzzles, and others.
