The Elementary School is composed of seven grade levels: Preparatory through Fifth Grade. There are 321 students enrolled in Elementary School and a teaching staff of 38. The teacher to student ratio in Elementary School is 1:8.5. The subjects included in the curriculum are:


Mathematics, Science,
English Language Arts, Spanish Language Arts, Social Studies, Human Relations, Art, Computer, Research/Library, Music, and Physical Education.


Each subject is taught in 40-minute blocks or periods. The number of periods per week varies among subjects.


The mission of Pan-American Elementary School is to create a learning environment by means of an intensive and integrated curriculum that instills a love for learning by utilizing a variety of teaching and learning strategies. Personalized attention is given to addressing the students’ emotional and academic needs while applying values and nurturing interpersonal and intra personal skills.

Elementary School staff and students enjoy their indoor facilities that include spacious classrooms, a computer lab, music room, art room, library, video room, cafeteria, two teachers’ lounges and workrooms as well as outdoor facilities including a gym, two soccer fields, an oval running track, and spacious green areas with picnic tables. The classrooms measure 64 square meters and the maximum students per class is 24.
